PRODUCTION ACTIVITIES

SunTrust Oil and its Partners have continued to reap the benefit of increased storage space at the Umusadege field. With about 110,000 barrels storage space available, SunTrust Oil and its Partners were able to sustain injection rate during/after production/injection outages during this period of COVID-19 Pandemic under review. There is progress with the produced water handling system, as part of the last phase of the CPF debottlenecking exercise.

GAS LIFT OPERATIONS

SunTrust Oil and its partners are making a lot of progress with the planned gas lift operation. We are nearing completion of installation of Gas Lift compressors’ piping connection spool. The commissioning of the project is planned for Q4 2020.

CRUDE EXPORT

Both the Umugini Pipeline Infrastructures Limited (“UPIL”) and the Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited (“NAOC”) export lines suffered several downtimes resulting from pipeline sabotages and Tank tops during the period under review. However, the crude shipping activities was sustained during the period under review.

COMMUNITY AFFAIRS

We continued to ensure a peaceful working environment through strategic engagement with the various host communities and have continued to make progress with many of the various signed-off key developmental projects.

Currently, various road projects and Classroom blocks projects are at various stages of completion.

The Oil and Gas Industry Intervention Initiative on COVID-19

As a fully committed member of the Independent Petroleum Producers Group (IPPG), SunTrust Oil is supporting the Federal Government’s ongoing fight against the COVID-19 pandemic by its donation to the NNPC-led Industry Intervention Fund through the IPPG.  Specifically, SunTrust and its JV Partner donated foodstuffs and other items worth millions of naira to their host communities, particularly, Umusadege, Umusam and Ogbeani in Utagba-Ogbe, Kwale, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State of Nigeria.
