Ugo is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School with specializations in Corporate and Commercial Law. Ugo obtained a JD (Juris Doctorate) from the Vanderbilt University School of Law, USA. He attended the University of Nigeria where he was awarded an LLB degree after which he was awarded a BL (Barrister at Law) at the Nigerian Law School.
Ugo also obtained a Certificate in Financial Modeling and Petroleum Project Economics at IHRDC (International Human Resources Development Corporation) Boston, USA.
He began his career with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA); and thereafter was with Foundation Trust, Lagos; Lord Bissell & Brook in Atlanta Georgia, USA and Good Works International, LLC, USA.
Ugo currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer at SunTrust Oil.
CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER
John has over 16 years’ experience in the petroleum sector primarily in the areas of project development and project financing. His professional specializations include: internal audit and controls, analysing project funding options, feasibility study analysis and structuring strategies to maximize project equity valuation and debt capacity.
John has held senior banking positions in Nesbitt Burns (now BMO Capital) and where he was ranked as a number one equity analyst by institutional investors, the Bank of Scotland and GMAC Structured Finance. John is a graduate of the University of Toronto and qualified in Canada as a Chartered Accountant.
Some notable project experience includes being project manager or financial advisor for:
- LNG trains 4 and 7 for the Qatar Gas II and Qatar Gas IV projects. Including assisting in the negotiation of the LNG offtake agreements, which were among the first in the world to include the flexibility to divert LNG cargoes to the spot market.
- Preparation of the feasibility study and arranging the development funding for the restoration of two offshore shut-in oil fields and the development of three offshore green field oil fields in South Eastern Nigeria. The project included the construction of a subsea pipeline to connect the fields to the host export terminal.
- Preparation of the feasibility study and arranging the development funding for a giant deep water oil field located in the Gulf of Guinea and the construction of an FPSO with the capability to produce and process up to 120,000 bbl/day of crude oil and associated gas production.

Rachel is a multi-skilled professional with over 16 years extensive experience covering broad range from Accounting & Finance, Human Resource, Administration and Management. She has worked in the Oil industry for over 12 years.
She is an Alumnus of the Stanford Graduate School of Business, California USA where she obtained a certificate on Executive Program for Growing Companies. She obtained an MBA in International Business Management from the Lagos State University, Nigeria and she is a graduate of Accounting and an Associate member (ACA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
Rachel is a Certified Risk & Compliance Management Professional (CRCMP) obtained from the USA Institute, International Association of Risk & Compliance Professionals (IARCP). She is also a Certified International Financial Reporting Standards Specialist (CIFRSS).
She obtained a certificate in Financial Modeling and Petroleum Project Economics from the International Human Resources Development Corporation (IHRDC), Boston, USA. She is a fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration (FICA).
She began her career in UBA Capital & Trust; she then worked briefly with Century Media Ltd and GoodWorks Intl LLC before joining SunTrust Oil Company Nigeria Ltd.
Ekeno is a graduate of accounting from the University of Calabar, also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
He started his career with Stanbic-IBTC Pension Managers Limited before joining KPMG Professional Services where he gained extensive experience in audit, accounting, advisory, process reviews, audit due diligence, internal control design and implementation on various client engagements spanning across diverse industries, with specific reference to Oil and Gas (both upstream and downstream sectors), Telecommunications, Marine& Shipping industries in Nigeria.
Ekeno’s core specialization is in Oil and Gas industry of the Nigerian economy and he has been involved in providing services to various multinational companies with varying reporting requirements including but not limited to SoX and SAS. His skills and specialties include audit of financial statements in accordance with applicable standards, statutory reviews, financial reporting and analysis (focus on oil and gas industry), controllership, regulatory compliance, treasury management, budgeting and budgetary control and setting up/monitoring the implementation of internal control systems.
Okonye Chinye Hilary
Hilary is a graduate of University Of Benin, Benin City, where he obtained a B.Eng. in Production Engineering with a second class honours (Upper division). He was a drilling/Wellsite Engineer in Addax Petroleum and was involved in various types of wells ranging from vertical, simple deviated, horizontal well and splitter wells.
